It wasn't here at noon – at least with the French interface, but I suppose it's the same for everybody. |
It does not work out here on my work. Only have Internet Explorer 7 here and can't install any other browser, even portable version of Google Chrome does not work, Remote Desktop Connection secured to the max... So I will test this at home, thanks. |
Hi, I have just noticed something about Street View. The face filter seems to be less effective for black people. If you take a look at this shot for instance http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=london&ie=UTF8&ll=51.494878,-0.09819&spn=0.01384,0.038624&z=15&iwloc=A&layer=c&cbll=51.494848,-0.09802&panoid=pu0mB268_UPFqFVlCaJfvQ&cbp=12,66.92310892611226,,1,2.06668842276798 you'll notice that at this bus stop in London, in a dark cloudy day, basically all the black people's faces have not been blurred unlikely those of a lighter complexion!

If the Army could use this technology even by just using Earth Google, they could map out their intended target, do a street low level scan and report those statistics back to central command. It may help against troop losses and friendly fire incidents. 24 Hour monitoring systems using your technology could give our troops a distinct advantage. |
