Recently, Google enabled us to choose between a cryptic profile URL or http://www.google.com/profiles/[google username]. This is interesting, because it's easier to remember a profile by its associated username. But as mentioned in the article below, it may attract spam to users' inbox: http://www.labnol.org/internet/email/gmail-address-in-google-profile/8219/ I'd like to pick a better profile URL, because I don't like my actual GMail address, but I can't. Why I can't choose at least other of my nicknames/usernames that appear in my google account? (like my YouTube username) |
This is not a privacy issue only, this includes a security risk too. |

A good question to add, the point was to say that if e-mail address is found privacy is not being breached :) |
