Guys, I'm looking for a minimal CMS written in PHP and uses MySQL for my web designing business. I'm looking for something minimal which I can later write for it plugins. So I need something SECURE, flexible and minimal.

Any ideas?

Why not use WordPress. Although it's blogsoftware it can be used as an CMS and it's light :-).

We use Typo3 a lot. It's not a minimal CMS but it's very flexible but it can be difficult. Or Joomla?

I tried WordPress, but it wont fit well when you try to integrate with large components. And I feel that the Joomla is overloaded with lots of options, I was looking for something minimal, yet I can easily add plugins to it, to start with. I'm gonna give a look at the Typo3.

I use WordPress myself, but I wouldn't recommend it for any site where the majority of the content is non-blog.

The people who use Drupal seem to be very enthusiastic about the platform. It's perhaps a little harder to get started with than WordPress, but very closely aligned to your requirements.
