Did Google get it right?

Google recently made the availability of their "My Location" feature more widespread.

Much of the information comes from Ted Morgan, CEO of Skyhook, a competing provider of geolocation data. Some of the information about Google's service is his speculation. There is also some information from Google and Mozilla.

I am in Dublin according to Google, when really I am about 100km away. I know my IP address is registered to my ISP in Dublin though, so I'm guessing this is why. I get these results on my MacBook using my home WiFi network, which I mapped with SkyHook before...

On Windows 7, Wifi and Firefox 3.5 Google gets my location almost right. It's 100 meters off. So that's pretty good I think.
