In the Netherlands Google now lets people vote on their favorite locations. The locations on the list will be visited by the Google Street View-trikes.

I've never been there but I voted for Efteling. Efteling is the largest theme park in The Netherlands, and as it opened in 1952, it is one of the oldest theme parks in the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Efteling. |
I have been to Efteling. I would recommend going to it over Disneyland any day!
It is such a charming place, Disneyland seems so crowded and false next to it. Efteling has rides similar to those in Disneyland or other theme parks, but also smaller rides like "chairoplanes" which I think most small children (or even older people with a sense of fun) would remember more fondly than the blinking lights and plasticity of Disneyland or Universal Studios' Theme Park.
Since you haven't been there Michel, I think you should go. I had lots of good times there. If you don't have kids, it's worth borrowing some off someone you know and put up with them to spend even an hour there :D |

I expect Efteling to be cool indeed. Now I have to get some kids somewhere as a excus to go there :-). But it's now vacation here in the Netherlands so it's to crowded to go there. |
Last week Google Streat View car passed me two times when I was standing on the sidewalk in Netherlands (Amsterdam, to be exact), so I expect to be featured on Google Maps there soon ;) |
