<<It appears that some time over the weekend, YouTube began experimenting with 3D videos. I spotted a thread at the YouTube Help forum about this, where Googler Pete said he developed this in his 20% time. >>

probably stupid ;) question: how can I make stereographic video? Do I have to have two lenses camera? |
Wow, this is great stuff. Where do I get glasses to watch 3D videos other than in a cinema?
Also, Assassins Creed is a brilliant game! I can't wait for Assassins Creed II |
They could more easily do this with HTML 5's open web video! |
noname: yes. Or simply two cameras you start at exactly the same time.
This is cool, but laggs horribly on Linux :( |
I use Ubuntu, basic configuration, it works great. And it's already translated in French. |
Thanks tom, they work great :D |
i couldn't get it to work even with real3D cinema glasses!? Any ideas? Specific monitor needed? |
Cellphish, could you specificy what exactly didn't work, you hopefully did realize you can choose the glass colours in the select menu under the video. |
I'm sorry but this is as useless as it can get... I don't see why they would put developer time in something like this... |
Yv, for what it's worth, the developer behind this said it was his 20% time... |
A motorized carriage that you have to continuously repair and fill with gasoline? That's about as useless as it gets. Horses work just fine. |
Why would anyone complain about that! I thought it was great!! |
Hey Guys,
I know of an Israeli Company named "Taatua" that has been developing such a 3D solution for real time systems. I have seen a few samples and the result is surprisingly really good. Has anyone else heard of them?? you can check their website at www.taatua.com, not much there but contact info.
