a contact, my lady to whom i speak regularly has disappeared from my chat list

anybody know why?

i can contact her from one of her emails though a picture of her that fleetingly appears and from the drop down in the box

normaly in the place for my contacts i see "loading, tthen her name appears, but that has stopped happening. is that just because google voice and video is flaky?
