This may or may not be new, but i've never seen it before.

The promoted video on the front page is no longer a YouTube video, but a link to one.

Also, the "videos being watched right now" is non-flash but has been for some time.

It must be new.

I can see why they did it. They want people to be more active with the video, like comment & rate.
