Google now offers "55 Ways to Have Fun With Google" available to be fully read online, it was Creative Commons licensed already, plus I had to nod off an agreement to allow them the full republication: http://books.google.com/books?id=-XDkb3htVikC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q=&f=false
(The book was already fully available at http://www.55fun.com)
Here's Google's post: http://booksearch.blogspot.com/2009/08/bringing-power-of-creative-commons-to.html
<<Today, we're launching an initiative to help authors and publishers discover new audiences for books they've made available for free under Creative Commons (CC) licenses. Rightsholders who want to distribute their CC-licensed books more widely can choose to allow readers around the world to download, use, and share their work via Google Books.>> |
Do you have any interesting stats to share regarding how many copies you sold of this book, and what proportion of them were through Lulu's shop? |
Published in 2006 Units sold to date: 311 Units sold since 2009-07-14: 0
:)
(Not exactly sure where to find the stats on where the book was bought...) |
Thanks Philipp. Sorry to hear that it didn't sell many more! |
311? :(
I might put some leaflets for it in my local shopping centre, they distribute them for free... |
