Actually that is quite good. The leadup is excellent, it builds suspense as the story proceeds, and the punchline is really quite surprising. 8 on a scale of 10, as far as blond jokes go.

The real fun thing about this blond joke is the relatively insane amount of traffic it brings in :) It's like in affiliate programs where you get traffic from referrals.

I posted it myself like 10 days ago, and it's been linked a few times since. And whenever we go to another linking level (site2 -> site1 -> me) it's bringing more and more traffic (as there are more and more level2 sites)

Your page gets 1 zillion hits but no-one stays more than 2 seconds.

So, you waste time, bandwidth and money on this blonde link chain for what ? 2 second visits ?

Simply renaming your webpages to i_am_gullible.html would be cheaper and just as effective.

Yeah, I'm blond and it took me about 5 clicks to finally realize what the blone joke was..... going to pass it on...

Oh my gosh, I clicked on about 40 links before I got it, mostly b/c I didn't read any comments on the blog posts, otherwise I would have realized it is a scam so much sooner. Whew. That was good.

Out of brutal curiosity, I clicked every single loop in this chain. And while I lost an EXACT count, I think I clicked somewhere between 20 and 30 times. And laughed harder with every click.

UPDATE: There are exactly 15 links in the current loop, starting at this page. Perhaps somebody needs to point at another blog with a similar entry? :)
