Just another opportunity for Google to stop sending traffic away from Google properties. They talked a big game in the beginning about how they only wanted to send people to the right answer, consistently. But for years now, that has eroded, giving way to the desire to be the actual provider of the answer, even if it's copied from someone else.

Isn't it better to provide the right answer after the click than to send them away digging for it on the ten blue?
