Hey, that is an extremely encouraging announcement for sure. I really like most of the products from Google like their Search Engine, GMail and GTalk (which is IMHO any day better than most of the competitors inspite of not having many exotic features).

Even in this unfinished state, I like the Google Reader (GR). I like the reading pane (RHS of the lens) very much, and the keyboard shortcuts (original + greasemonkey extensions) really work well for me.

Of course, I combine Netvibes (NV) and GR to do my work. I use NV to filter out the interesting stuff, and use the GR to read the bigger posts. I know this is a pain in the neck, but it allows me to zap through my links double quick. Another reason is that the reading pane of NV is not as good as it can be.
