When I looked at the Chromium "New Tab" page today, I realized that the thumbnail for "Google Chrome" (google.com/chrome/intl/en/welc ...) looked different...

After updating to the latest Chromium build, the caption changed:

But the link and thumbnail image are still the same, and clearly show Chrome. |
same thing happen when ever they were about to show the themes page, I think they are just going to change the chrome download page to what it shows there |
The thumbnail clearly shows themes for Chrome, a feature that's not been introduced to the stable Chrome channel (IIRC).
That suggests to me that Google's about to push out a new stable release. |
