http://www.project10tothe100.com/vote.html

"Last fall we launched Project 10^100, a call for ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible. Your response was overwhelming. Thousands of people from more than 170 countries submitted more than 150,000 (or around 10^5.2) ideas, from general investment suggestions to specific implementation proposals."

Did you notice the ReCaptcha when you voted? I guess we'll see much more of that now that Google has bought them.

Although all the ideas Google groups would somewhat change the world and bring some benefit to people I think Google has highly regretted the competition and finally chose ideas which don’t disturb capitalism. The ideas that would really make an impact must be political and Google has not even created such a group. I believe my idea troubled Google. You may find it here http://www.sarovic.com/google_project.htm.
Even if my idea is wrong which it is not, it could still open the door to the new way of thinking. In today’s world, NOT ONE idea exists about what comes after capitalism. My idea clearly presents what will come next. One day it will change the world and make it a wonderful place to be. Google still likes capitalism much more than a good world.

Although i agree with you, i hope you didn't expect more from them =/

It's time people realize order and organization and prosperity doesn't depend on the state, on capitalism, or on the exploitation of many for the benefit of the few. Shouyout to http://www.reddit.com/r/anarchism

To everyone else, what did you vote for and why?

The projects listed are disappointing. It was supposed to help the most people! Urban planning? Personal health tracking devices? Making science cool? Come on!

We need to FEED PEOPLE, HELP FARMERS GROW FOOD, AND KEEP CHILDREN FROM DYING OF STARVATION AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE LIKE DIARRHEA AND MALARIA!

Fixing potholes? Are you kidding me!?!?

I voted for "Make government more transparent" because it is only with a clear knowledge of how one's government works that a proper revolution can happen.

I find many ideas very interesting so didn't quite know which one to vote for. Many of the ideas seem like Google could implement them themselves, is that a coincidence?
