Google Wave Checker (Chrome extension)

Jeremy Sellier has developed a Chrome extension that checks unread Waves every minute: http://www.jeremyselier.com/fr/entry/chrome-extension-google-wave-checker.

I find it very useful as I don't check Wave frequently (at least not as frequently as Gmail).

Hopefully, Chrome will support a keyboard shortcut to hide the extension bar like the bookmark bar (cmd+shift+b) so that I don't sacrifice 1/20 of my screen space for an app that may end up in the dead pool within few months ;)

Thanks for posting this Jérôme!

ctrl+alt+b : to toggle the extension bar (in fact there will be some big changes on extensions on chrome for the reason you mentioned (screen space))

ctrl+alt+b and command+alt+b to toggle the extension bar does not work on Chromium Mac
