I reckon they have an online application that asks that question, so applicants google to see what others have to say. |
What I want to know is why are so many people searching for "why would you lie about how much coal you have?" |
those are lyrics to a song |
"Why would you knit that" is way funnier! |
It's a combination of factors. There is a blog post on I Hate Starbucks with similar phrasing, in addition to several Yahoo! answers WikiAnswers (etc) pages using this phrase. Add that to that Starbucks' careers page says "Would you like to work at Starbucks?", and you've got the magic mix for a strange auto suggestion in Google searches. Even though I cannot find a page in the careers section that uses the exact phrase, and the careers section is only a small part of the search results that actually come up for those phrases.
This is what happens when you let robots decide what to suggest... |
Maybe it is a regular question asked at the interview for Starbucks... |

There's actually quite a funny blog behind that search phrase: http://whywouldyouknitthat.blogspot.com/ |
