Good to see that people are starting to use Go already, but I don't think that I'd want a twitter client which I have to type my password in plain sight every time I want to update :) |
"Two days ago Google announced its Go programming language project, and we should perhaps be unsurprised to find that one of the first user programs to emerge from the new language is… a Twitter client. ...."

To clarify, it's a Twitter client, application is not the best term. |
They should definitely hurry up renaming the language, before people get too accustomed to it... aside of that the source looks terrible... but that's simply the language... func instead of function for example... or take a look at a line of code like "func (t *Twitter) post(url, s string) (our string, err os.Error) {" ... I may be spoiled due to the fact that I am most interested in php, js (, progress and vb6) which are all (except for js) quite readable languages. |
