Juha-Matti, it's even worse than that, occassionally they spell him phonetically "Szopen;" have renamed the showcase Warsaw Airport –once a beautiful relic of late 60?s socialist concrete air-barack architecture– the "Chopin Airport," and mine the composer's historical Polish roots for all they can by drowning innocent Western youths' hunger for novelty binge drinking with "Chopin" vodka brand served off frosted-glass reverse-embossed bottles! Ah, the marketing perfidy of it all! |
Interesting, I was not aware of the background of airport naming.
Possibly the alt tag of the doodle was Fryderyk Chopin as well. |
hebbet:
I was aware that the tld can be changed, but not sure that Google keeps doodles online after the "campaigns" too.
