It's not because of the tour de France, it's because Paris – Nice start's today until next week.

Thank you Websonic and Pascal, I even didn't know that.

By the way, strangely enough is that the filename reads Tour de France. (The tour starts on July 3th in the Netherlands.) The leader of Paris-Nice also get a yellow shirt wich explains the yellow colour in the logo.

Problem: the tour starts from a city *close to Paris*, that means no cyclist will see the Eiffel Tower today, contrary to what you can see on the logo.

Although i'm sure that is for Paris-Nice. Orkuts / Googles intention was to place the logo for the Tour de France (alt-tag and filename). I emailed Google to ask why this was. Maybe there is another reason, or it's a mistake.

Ah AH! I bet I know the reason!!!!

We are March 7th ==> 03/07 in American
but if you inverse it, as the French does for example ==> 07/03 ==> July, 3rd ==> the Tour De France starts at this date!

hahahahaha, good thinking! That could be indeed the reason, but if it is, it's a silly mistake. But not as painfull as the Kuwait doodle earlier this year.

It's a real coincidence for "Paris-Nice", no one (even in France) is aware about that famous-anyway race
