Youtube playlist privacy issue

When I don't have much time, I put long, interesting videos into playlists in order to watch them later.

It's very convenient to add a video to a playlist right from its Youtube page (add to playlist > new playlist). And if I want to share it with my friends and the world, I can favorite it: it will be pushed it immediately to my friends and websites I've selected when setting up the autoshare feature (see http://www.youtube.com/account#sharing/activity).

But today, I've noticed that videos added to new playlist are now pushed through the autoshare feature even though it is set up to only publish favorites and uploads (not the content of playlists).

I discovered this while playlisting a political-oriented video, which was pushed to followers without my consent/knowing – I had to check Friendfeed to realize that it was shared publicly.

This unexpected behavior sounds quite similar to the Buzz's issue http://www.businessinsider.com/warning-google-buzz-has-a-huge-privacy-flaw-2010-2... I hope my expectations were wrong or that I made a mistake somewhere. Otherwise, I hope it's just a bug that will be fixed soon.

It's a minor issue but it doesn't makes me lose trust in a service provider.
Here's a quick screen recording: http://www.vimeo.com/10336317 (Youtube can't upload this video either in Chrome or Safari).

Was your video related to economic development in Iraq? I can still see it in Google Reader shared items.

[put at-character here]TOMHTML: nope, it was about European policies – nothing embarrassing, fortunately.
