Yes, YouTube continues to display the error on the main page, but however it plays video. |
Yup... same here in NC, USA. |
Its intermittent.. Singapore |
In Youtube.de (Germany) is the Error 'Http/1.1 Service Unavailable' too |
Google was down for more than one hour, I've tweeted that in live, you can see pics on Zorgloob.com, including screenshots of Apache errors ;-) |
"YouTube experienced a technical issue this morning. Our engineers worked to fix it and the site is back to normal. Apologies to our users." http://twitter.com/youtube/status/11039537654 No more details... |
Australia here, still down with the same 'Http/1.1 Service unavailable' error. Some videos work other take you back to that same page. I wonder what has caused this issue. |
it's down in Australia (still!) |
Knol (in editing mode) was down for me yesterday, and a colleague in the US tells me that it's still down for him today. |
Knol's editor was down until about 10:30 a.m. on Friday for me, though it's now back up. |
Got the same problem right now from Denmark:
"Http/1.1 Service Unavailable" |
This problem may have been the result of using faulty DNS translations originating from a server in China. The China server was apparently doing this to censor sites. http://www.itworld.com/networking/102576/after-dns-problem-chinese-root-server-shut-down

I doubt this is the cause of Youtube bug, because with a DNS error you cannot access all pages of a websites, the bug cannot affect the home page only. |
Youtube in Germany down 01.04.2010 – 02.04
