(I searched and re-searched and searched once more, yet as far as I know it hasn't been discussed here yet:) Google Maps now added Google Earth view, using (I think) the Google Earth browser plugin (blogoscoped.com/archive/2008-0 ...): + Show video

Google's Blog post from yesterday: googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/0 ... Yes it is the same plugin and it still isn't available for Linux >:(

Hopefully I'm a Linux user too, because I can't believe I would have to download a such big plugin to see these data. Ionut did a great article about that yesterday.
