Hi Philipp,
I try to find a way to have shortened search results in my blog (hosted at blogger.com). I guess your blog is also hosted at blogger? I could see that your search box on the right comes up with shortened results instead of displaying all posts completely that contain the search term.
Is there an option in blogger that gives me the "short style" I'm looking for? How to do it?
Thx in advanced, Kai |
blogoscoped.com is NOT hosted at blogger, but at a private host/ network provider in Karlsruhe, Germany. See "whois blogoscoped.com" for more. AFAIK the native search engine is implemented by Philipp alone, ergo not transferable to other sites (even had it been released into the open; check http://blogoscoped.com/search/?q=blogora for earlier discussions on a Blogoscoped clone). |
Thanks for the quick answer :) |
Ian gave a good explanation :)
I'm using a PHP5-based mix between Google's REST search (http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2008-04-09-n26.html) and searching the local MySQL database. |
