I can't decide whether the discrepancy between forms of (1) the yellow connection WARNING-WITH-EXCLAMATION-MARK triangle menubar icon that triggers the Security Information dialog with its middle, (2) square-form corresponding warning instance (INCOMPLETE with cut-off text) is a case of Google's http://google.com/search?q=left+hand+knows+not+what+the+right+hand+is+doing .. [not knowing what its right one does], or a conscious choice acc. to some UI design principle that distinguishes between the "alerting" and "informing" states of a warning sign/icon. google chrome 6.0 will get a new omnibox layout, which makes it easier to see what is wrong
