I have noticed today, that the Gmail chat allows me to invite others to the conversation. I think that was previously possible only using the flash Gtalk client. Too bad it is not a real Jabber MUC.
Did Google release the feature in phases and I just got it or is it really new?

Their deviation from the jabber standards worry me... and i'm even more worried about how they'll do milti-user video chat. Hopefully it will be muji-compatible but that wll require proper jabber MUC
