Google Earth used to come in .bin files for Linux. I can remember having problems getting it to install when GEarth 6 came out. Now when you visit in Linux, you get the option of 32 or 64bit .deb or .rpm packages.

The Linux download page links to the Google Earth browser plug in even though it's still not available for Linux :(

Right now I'm installing Fedora 64-bit on my computer (which previously ran Fedora 32-bit), so the availability of the rpm packages is great news for me.
