You know, that's quite a possibility. I'd assumed when seeing the green bars, it was a "relevance" meter, a la what PR should be ... but it's equally possible that it's a page count, or something similar.

I really like the Amazon's a9 search's capability of showing multiple categories of search (web, movies, images) side-by-side. And you can easily turn on or off the ones you don't want. If they combined that with these bars (if they indicate relevance or number of results) that would be cool.

I tried this a half a dozen times, according to your instructions and it doesn't do a damn thing...no effect what so ever.
