Dark Bar at the top of Google

Is the dark gray navigation bar at the top of Google an experiment or rolled out for all? I think it really gives the page a way too heavy feeling, destroying the don't-make-me-think-lightweightness. Could be just the surprise of seeing it newly, though, we'll see...

I like it. Goes nice with the Ambience theme in Ubuntu.

Someone has made a user style to make it look EXACTLY like the Ubuntu panels: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Google_menu_Ubuntu_theme?content=143170

Hey, when I visit Google's homepage today, I found out that some links (Advertising Programs, Business Solutions...) was moved to the left bottom of the page. Anyone else seeing this?

for the visually impaired the black bar is illegible due to extremely low contrast grey on white and does not meet w3c standards for accessibility. it's a nightmare!
