They seem to be slowly redesigning all their sites. Search has already been done.

The colour scheme reminds me of Blogoscoped :P

I don't really like it, not clear enough

When I enlarge the screen all daily events are compressed into "2 events", "3 events", ect. I am older and my eyes are not what they used to be and the eye strain is quite painful when I shrink the screen to see all events at a glance. The colors used to help, I can hardly identify the today square on the calender, it is light gray. Hopefully this is an incomplete update and Google will have adjustments for people with poor eyesight.

Thanks Barry for the link, I just switched to Classic Look and I can see it! The joy is back!

my colleague just had a nice reaction:
- "Hey Tom, look Google Calendar, a CSS file is missing and the design is broken!"
- "No, it's the new design"
- "ಠ_ಠ"

they took the events out of the month view making that view useless. I see no good in this redesign

Just to balance stuff a bit out, I kinda like the design, a few details I would like to change, but in general definitely an improvement from the previous rainbow version. Once they redesign docs & gmail it will be great :D
