One of Google's robotic cars may have caused a five car accident. Google seems to be claiming that it was in manual mode at the instant of the collision.

Google is surely recording live video from every self-driving vehicle. Even if not for road safety purposes, Google must need video so that they can review vehicle performance and refine their algorithms. |
