Google has been running a print advertising campaign, "Good to Know", in one of our local daily newspapers.

Saw them heavily advertise this in Germany too (like on news site Spiegel.de).

Not sure I can believe the whole "how your data makes Google more useful" bit though, considering personalized Google+ things in the main Google search are kind of ruining the results for me lately ;) (I had to turn it off in the settings for now.)
