PLEASE tell me – or point me to the author of the Google rotaed example blogoscoped.com/rotated/ as rotation of text is considered by many impossible!

You need to use this CSS piece to achieve that (IE-only, remove blanks):

filter:progid: DXImageTransform. Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3);

I'm not sure if maybe Firefox 1.5 by now allows some kind of rotation...

IE only = evil
