I just noticed this from the UK too. I suspect that they've either not figured out how to fit "+ Talk" into the "Google Mail" logo or someone accidentally made a change which has temporarily replaced the "Google Mail" logo...

yep, here in Munich we're back to the "Gmail+talk" logo. I'm going with the accident too – it will be replaced with Google Mail again when they realize it

Here in the UK, I am now back to seeing Google Mail again. This follows a brief spell (maybe 48 hrs) of the new Gmail logo.

It is a bit mixed up though. One click from the homepage gives mail.google.com/mail/help/intl ... which has the new Gmail logo.

And a different click from the homepage gives mail.google.com/mail/help/intl ... which has the old Gmail logo (no Talk and different envelope). Further confusion comes in when you click for the earlier version of the Program Policies (well the version with changes marked), because this has the new Gmail logo mail.google.com/mail/help/intl ... .
