I read this this morning. SEOs are just people who spam then, right?

Not always Stephen. Some SEOs, I imagine, help businesses clean up their website and add things like sitemaps which help users and spiders.

However, many SEOs do bad things ("black hat") like link farming, keyword stuffing, and using hidden text. This is frowned upon by Google because it tries to game the system and doesn't help the users.

Stephen, often it's not the SEOs. Often the companies themselves prefer some kind of magic instead of true blue optimizing. Some go even as far as staging their own SEO contest to push their websites more than they deserve.

Thats why I say Fcuk the CarcasherDotCom SeoContest!
