Hey Guys,
This is my first post here.. but I've been checking this site for a while now!
I love Google.. follow their news every day. I want to work there one day.
Anyways, I want to post an idea I have for Gmail and see if you guys think it would be cool. I log on to Gmail almost 30 times a day.. it's like how I live. Don't you think it would be cool to have a Gmail Planner? I know that Yahoo and MSN have calendars within their mail systems.. but I'm sure Google can make on that is better/different than theirs. For example, lots of times I get emails regrading meetings/appointements that I have... I think it would be great if there was a butoon that you clicked which gave you a pop up box (like the name hoover thing) that lets you enter quickly the date and time and description info and then it is added to ur calendar?! Maybe have a task-list organizer or something.. just make Gmail an organizing system of my life..
What do you guys think? Is it a bad idea or do you think Google will make such thing in the future?

There has rumors of a "Google Calendar" for quite a while now... it's only a matter of time! |

There is some indication that Google may be thinking of integrating evites.com with gmail in some way.. that may be an indication that something could be happening soon? but really anything is a guess at this point. |
Garett, is right if eveites gets integration, then Planner / VM and calender all will mesh together well. think of google being the "window
" to you online activity. Call me , leave VM or send me tentative meeting marker – yeah via Gmail!!
