I dont care about what Google is doing with China, but if I were to run a search engine the size of Google, I would say to China that we are operating from U.S, we are answerable to U.S. laws only, if your Chinese users are wanting to access Google then they will see content tailored to US audiences only.

It is not the prerogative of British-controlled Chinese communist government to dictate what its citizens should and should not see.
