Battelle's advertising network is slow. Tonight, Blogoscoped and Metafilter are stalling before I see any content. This has happened before!

There are methods you can use to verify that your the actual content of your website has loaded before the advertisements do.

Of course, it is an established advertising tactic to have the ads show up before your content. However, this is only worthwhile if you have a guarantee that the adserver is nice and fast. It's not.

Which browser are you using? In Firefox, when the ads are slow I can still see everything content-wise, but not the navigation, as the FM ads are after the content. It's still bad then but not as bad.

Not sure, but theres the rumor that FM is opening a portal soon too!!

but http://9rules.com/ seems to be in the equation.. not sure if this is a hicup of pentesting servies unknowing to the partricipants
