I remember when Gmail was first released. People said that **no one** would ever need anything like 1 GB for the email messages.

But I think saving everything takes more storage than many people expected. I know the storage has kept growing so that space isn't really ever a concern but I am interested:

I am on 530 MB (6199 Conversations).

I'm at 734 MB (27%)... but I had to delete stuff before.

94 MB (3%) of 2.7 GB, but i have tons of email and usually i ask people to compress their attachements before sending to me. Uncompressed is a whole different thing.
