that raises the interesting prospect of campaigning , single issue, sites – fagoogle uses Adsense for Websearch as a revenue stream.

Notice that the site says that the revenue "helps out the gay community," yet there's no mention of donating money to charity. It appears the site primarily helps out one particular member of the gay community, namely the owner of the site.

Have you checked out when the domain, fagoogle.com was registered? I did, and it shows "01 Sep 2004" – So it's a new site. Maybe not even listed on Google yet.

I like it though, but you're right, I'd need some kind of evidence that it really provides money for some charitys before I'd consider using it.

Whether or not Fagoogle dotted their i's, crossed their t's and legitimately donated anything, it *does* provide a tempting model for activism.

I think what did them in was they incorporated the word "google" in their domain name.
