They seem to be experimenting. This will not last for long, as it will cost Google a lot of ad-dollars. I like it, though. :-)

The layout has been this way for me for about 36 hours now, and to be quite honest – it's getting on my nerves quite a lot. At the moment I definitely prefer the old layout – possibly simply because I'm just not used to this yet. But I would like out of the experiment if possible.

Anyone know how to go back to the old layout, short of using IE again?

where do you guys see the new layout? I don't see it?

It's in Firefox Browsers. I am using the German version under www.google.de
