Im starting to read some speculation that Google is buying Mozilla (Firefox.)
Did anybody else hear that? Is it also true that Google has hired many of the core Firefox developers over the last year?

A good while ago, they hired Ben Goodger, Firefox' lead developer.

FF and mozilla racked in 72 million in cash for yr06. It will be difficult for google to invest in a browser only product.

However, if google come out with their own browser this may change the way the internet functions. Maybe, that's why they have hired a bunch of FF development folks!

yeah. I believe we will see some google browser in the future. think about their company! they make the internet more productive for people. all the products they release can one day combine into one core product

That could be possible. just look at the good relationship between Mozilla and Google.
