Sory this is a bit off topic. But I thought that someone round here might be able to help.

Anyone have any idea how much it will cost to buy a version of Windows Vista? (not on a PC just on its own).

last pricing strategy indicated $399/- --not sure if this is still the bottom line!!

Reduction for if you are upgrading from XP?

I'm guessing around $150-$200. And no, I don't think there will be a reduction if you are upgrading from XP. Almost everybody will be upgrading from XP so it wouldn't seem realistic for Microsoft.
