I am getting that same bug also on my blog. I am just using the free service and hosting it on my own site.

Whatever the problem is, it affects both sides of the house.

I told Blogger about your note here. They told me they are indeed still working on this bug. And I thought they gave up...

how do you use blogger's free service and yet serve up the pages on your own site?

regarding the bug, the commonality between phillip and ronnie is that they are using blogger but hosting the site elsewhere (?) – could it be a timing bug in terms of the synch'iing of time between your box and bloggers service???

i use bloggers own blogspot.com , and i've never seen this bug.

The bug appeared today again. I had to change the post date/time stamp manually.

As for using Blogger's service – I'm paying for it (at least last time I did). The Blogger Pro account allows me to hand out my FTP login-details to Blogger.com, and they will export the sites to my server. It works quite smoothly, except there's no really great way to link a post to comments, or to allow for trackbacks.

Certain features on the other hand, like this site's calendar or forum, have been created manually by me.

I only noticed that bug just a couple of time Philipp. It appears to be corrected.

Blogger support is excellent, BTW. There was a problem in getting my blogs listed in my profile – they sent a letter (not automated) saying it was a tech problem..

Today I noticed it was fixed. Pretty darn fast, IMO.

As for comments – I am using an external service for that – BlogBack at http://www.tecknik.net/blogback/

I hear that HaloScan is pretty good too. They also have a new service for Trackbacks too. I will be looking into that here shortly (been real busy). But having Trackbacks would help immensly and get it noticed more.

If enough Blogger people do ask for this service, they may provide it. I read that in their Help section once. It appears that they removed that statement though. They are now referring you to HaloScan.

justin, I agree with you. Maybe this bug only affect people that have their blogs hosted in another site. Philipp, AFAIK, the Blogger free version allow you to manage the FTP stuff.
