Careful with the limit. I filled my account last month, and they definetly had not worked on this part much. I never got warnings on my alternate account. I couldn't send mail from the avvount for help, it was too full for the send message.

After about a week, I was locked out and could not log in. THREE weeks later they responded to my cries for help (from other email accounts) and I was abel to get in and quickly delete messages..

Yes I also experienced some (temporary) problems after filling my Gmail with 1000 MB. After deleting it, I could not access my Gmail for a whole weekend, though I don't know if this was related to the 1000 MB experiment.
