I am finding it harder and harder to find emails in Gmail. This is because most of the messages it finds are chat history ones! When searching for emails there should be an option to exclude chats, so i can just see emails.
Anybody else found this a problem, or got any other usability problems with Gmail? |
I think me is reaching that threshold too!!
i think this is good idea..flag search within chat or mail |
it wouldn't even be that hard to implement. |
Oh, but it's so easy.
Enter: [your search query] -chat |
Or even better: [your search query] -label:Chats |
Thanks Ionut. But surely it would be better to include a little checkbox that does the same thing? I can't see novice users typing in [search query] -label:chats |
You can also just go the advanced search options no? |
I haven't got an option for that in my advanced search. You sure you have philipp? |
