And those blogs sound like what she's doing (i.e. teaching English in China – I think) and there's someone in the pics that looks just like him :-)

Guys, thanks for helping me with this.. But i've been giving it a lot of thought and i think we probably should have respected Matt's privacy a little more. Just because he's in the public, doesn't mean we have to make him super public, especially when it comes to his mom..

It's just "cool" to discover his mother, nothing more ;-)

I think she'd be the first blogger in the world who publishes a blog but doesn't like to get publicity/ attention for it. OK, maybe Mark Jen too :)
But if Matt comes along and asks me to keep this private it'd be fair to remove it here.

I did think about the privacy issue before I posted those links. I agree with Phillip; if you publish a public blog, then it's there to be read by the public. The question is, does she really want Matt's followers reading about what she's done? Another question would be, "Do Matt's followers care about what his mother does?"

I guess Matt was concerned that people who are *desperate* for SEO advice would start posting comments to her blog too! (I know that sounds ridiculous, but I really wouldn't put it past some people...)

I also thought a lot about this and decided to post for the reason Philipp gives above – it's good publicity for her *great* charity called "Blessing Hands" which is the reason she's blogging in the first place.
