Yes I got this as well, and I examined there is recently a lot of queries made in search engines where may be some automoatic robot has been pulling: +46 Gmail or +49 gmail gmail etc... |
Maybe someone went ahead and implemented a Google Pages crawler? http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2006-02-24-n86.html
Do you also have something published with Google Page Creator? |
I do, it is at cellounge.googlepages.com
For some reason when you type site:cellounge.googlepages.com there are no results. |
i often wonder with this type of spam, why they don't put more effort into sounding genuine...? the bad english and general incontinuity is a dead give away. |
I actually did make something to search Google for site:googlepages.com and get the results, then print them out in e-mail form. I made this do just 10 e-mails, and spam protected them a little... it's a proof of concept, but shows it can be done. You can find it here: http://www.dswifi.be/PHPgoogleSearch/PHPgoogleSearch/PHPgoogleSearch.php (I don't use this for spam! This is proof of concept, and I hope no one uses it for spam!) |
