It appears Google has changed what is in the Google pack. Trillian has gone, and a few have been made optional extras to the pack (although of course all the software is optional) pack.google.com/pack_installer ...
Google Pack Screen saver should be off as default.

I still don't know why they don't include the free version of AVG and exclude Norton Anti virus

They should include a "Google Games" collection as download bait. I don't want to install their stuff, but some free games might convince me...
