WMP 11 will be launched next week (5.17.06)

new features:
* new style
* online store, that allows you to buy music that are played on MTV
* supports more codecs

yet another reason to shoot Microsoft's designers then... it's even uglier than Windows Live Messenger! and probably about as slow as Windows Live Mail...

i rarely use wmp anymore – url= videolan.org is far nicer. i occasionally switch to wmp for wmv files because it seems better at skipping through them than vlc.

it's certainly taken MS a while to hit back properly at itunes.

Actually, that screen shot looks quite sharp if you get rid of that ugly green background. But at this point, I'm scared to try M$ new releases! (at least for installed applications/OS)
