Google products no longer in beta?

So I was using google reader, and I realized that the icon changed from Beta to Labs. So I was looking through all of google's lab products, and they all have the new logo. It seems that google is trying to get away from the beta insignia and making a distinction with everything in the lab.

Everything in the lab. But not everything. Gmail is Beta still, so is Google Calendar.

Google Web accelerator hasn't got the labs logo, even though it is in the labs.
Is this porduct still being worked on?

Thats because Google Maps is a 'graduate' of labs and not acutally in it anymore. In fact Google Maps(.com) is not even in beta.

I think it was answered in the Q&A session yesterday. Basically Google say they want to better differentiate between their latest playful lab creations, and tools they plan to release big time to the world. I guess they were annoyed by press coverage putting down beta products...?
